Point taken, Tim was dealt a very negative fate in his live, his scholarship fell through after a back injury, Woody Harrelson being pick for the part in 'Cheers' instead. In normal circumstances you then turn to the people closest to you (family, friends) and reevaluated your life not go into the wilderness and depend on the animals. I believe this was another addiction, he gave up drinking and replace it with the animals.

Although it was said that Tim turned to animals as a way to quit drinking, his family should not have let him go into such an adventure knowing that he used to take antidepressents. Instead they should have taken him to a psychologist or to group therapy which would make him realize that he is loved by his family and other acting opportunities will come in the future. All stars in Hollywood are rejected at some point in their lives but the ones who dont give up are the ones who end up being very successful. Do you guys think he had enough support and love from his family?
